Anti-Depressant:  Used in aromatherapy,  gives a happy, relaxed feeling and works as a mood lifter.

Anti-Spasmodic:  Relaxes the muscular and nervous spasm giving relief.

Anti-Septic:  It inhibits microbial growth and disinfects the wounds.

Carminative:  Orange Oil is helpful to those suffering from chronic gas.

Diuretic:  Promotes urination to make the toxins like uric acid, bile, excess salts, pollutants and excess water exit the body through urine.

Tonic:  Tones systems functioning in the body, keeps the metabolic system in proper shape, gives strength and boosts immunity.

Sedative Properties:  Gives relief from anxiety, anger, depression and inflammations.

Rosemary Essential Oil :

Skin:  Rosemary oil has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. It can fight inflammation and skin irritations, useful in treating acne, dermatitis, eczema and other skin diseases.

Hair:  Rosemary oil stimulates the hair follicles and increases the blood flow, improving the scalp condition and encouraging hair growth.  It is a great remedy for dandruff. A few drops of rosemary oil in an unscented shampoo along with few drops of warm water can kill head lice. Rosemary oil slows down graying of hair and premature hair loss. This is the reason why rosemary oil is used in shampoos and conditioners.

Pain:  Rosemary oil has the ability to relive pains associated with menstrual cramps, rheumatism, arthritis, muscular aches, headaches and migraines. It alleviates neuralgia, mental fatigue and pains due to excessive physical work.

Mental Health:
Rosemary oil is an excellent nerve and brain tonic, improving memory skills and concentration. It is a good remedy for depression and fatigue. Inhaling a few drops of rosemary oil enhances mood stability.

Decreases Fatigue and Mild Depression:  Fatigue and depression brought on by weariness or feeling run down are relieved by the effects of rosemary essential oil.

Respiration:  Rosemary oil has antiseptic properties and effective in treating respiratory infections.

Precautions for Using Rosemary:  Rosemary essential oil has a stimulating effect on the body so care should be taken with epileptics. Heavy overuse could result in nervous twitches or muscle spasms. While there are warnings about use during pregnancy, there is little empirical evidence of these dangers and the warnings stem from effects of one of the hundreds of chemical compounds in the oil. If there is concern about using essential oils contact a health care practitioner trained in their use.

Oregano Essential Oil :
Oil of Oregano has been shown  to kill not only Candida Albicans yeasts, but also Aspergillus Mold, Staphylococcus, E. Coli, and Giardia, among other pathenogic organisms.
Oil of Oregano has a really strong taste, especially for anyone not used to eating hot or spicy foods.
Most children will not like the taste of Oil of Oregano, plus, its strength may be too much for kids. If your health care practitioner recommends Oil of Oregano for treating your child, you can use a topical application of the oil, diluted into a carrier oil, to be applied to the soles of little ones' feet, which allows for a gentler introduction of the beneficial compounds into a child's system (through absorption rather than ingestion).

Anti Viral:
  Gives protection against viral infections.

Anti Bacterial:  Just as it protects you against viral infections, it protects you against bacterial infections too.

Anti Fungal:  Virus, bacteria, fungi and protozoa are the four agents which are responsible for all types of communicable and infectious diseases. Out of these, fungi are responsible for some of the dreaded and fatal infections, internal and external.  Many skin infections are also caused by these fungi. Oregano Oil, if used regularly, internally or externally, can protect effectively against these fungal infections.

Anti Oxidant:
Protects you from the damages done to the body by the free radicals or oxidants, neutralizes the free radicals and repairs the damages already done.

Anti-inflammatory, Pain Reliever:
Taken internally, as well as applied topically, diluted Oil of Oregano will be of great relief to people suffering from arthritis, joint pain, and tendonitis. When your joints or tendons are inflamed, diluted Oil of Oregano applied topically can penetrate deeply beneath the skin’s surface to help reduce swelling and pain. Taken internally it acts as a powerful pain reliever.

Anti Parasitic:
Parasites, such as round worms, tape worms, lice, bed bugs, mosquitoes, fleas etc., some living inside and outside the human body, use the body as a source of food as well as acting as carriers of communicable diseases. Oregano Essential Oil, when ingested, gets rid of intestinal worms. Applied externally, it keeps away lice, bed bugs, mosquitoes, fleas etc.

Anti Allergenic:
Oregano Oil, being sedative in nature, calms down hyper-sensitivity giving relief from allergies.

Digestive:
Promotes digestion by increasing secretion of digestive juices.

Other Benefits:
Helps heal psoriasis, eczema, athlete’s foot, flu and other infectious ailments. It can be used to treat bacterial infections like e- coli, giardiasis and food poisoning. Studies show that it is a powerful painkiller.

Caution: It can cause irritation of skin and mucus membrane, if taken in higher concentrations or dosages. Pregnant women should avoid using it.
Essential Oil of Oregano blends well with essential oils of Lavender, Rosemary, Bergamot, Chamomile, Cypress, Cedar Wood, Tea Tree and Eucalyptus
